All too often arises the question of what to hang on the walls? There is a billion dollar industry vying for a piece of your wallet, but why give it to them when you can create it yourself? You might argue that you are not at all artistic, so I ask can you operate a camera and photoshop (or similar photo editing software), or know someone who can?

It's really as easy as finding a picture you've taken, or coming up with an idea and taking it, print, mat, frame and hang! VoilĂ , you've just created a one-of-a-kind art peice!
There are dozens of places to have the prints done, starting at about $10 (just google poster sized prints). I had mine printed at walmart.com It took about a week to get them and they turned out good and I think I paid around $16 for each.
I love them because they are my "windows" back to the bay area and are a little piece of home, plus I took them. So much more special then some store bought art! Plus since I did it all myself it only ended up costing about $100 for both! Try buying to pieces for that price!
